Know Me Better

I love this idea! Know Me Better is hosted by I Am A Reader, Not a Writer. Each week she picks 5 questions off her author interview list to answer. Anyone can participate and she has a place to link up on her page! OOH yeah!

1. Is there anything you would like to say to or ask your favorite author?

-Dear J.K., PLEASE can you PLEASE write Harry Potter: The New Generation?!? Please oh please.

Thanks.

-ALSO I'd like to ask Laini Taylor (author of Daughter of Smoke & Bone) where she gets her fantastical brain juice from.

2. Are you a dreamer or a realist?

-I daydream all day every day. But in reality I'm a realist.

3. Theater or Rental?

-THEATER THEATER THEATER! I love going to the movies. Maybe it's the popcorn, I don't know.  If only it weren't so stinking expensive now I'd go all the time!

4. Share a family tradition.

-From about birth until highschool-ish age, me, my brother and my parents went over to my grandparents house every single Friday evening. And my 2 sets of aunts and uncles and cousins would also be there. I have soo many fond memories of those times. Hide-and-go-seek in the dark in the scary basement, ping-pong, playing Captain Planet and Star Trek, dress up and sheet tents.

You know it must be pretty special if after you have the option you continue wanting to hang out at your grandparents on a Friday night.

5. Favorite late night snack?

-CEREAL! (Usually my staples Special K Red Berry or Multigrain Cheerios).  OR frozen yogurt.  Maybe I have a thing for dairy..

  1. I love your answer to the first question! Even though I think I would much rather read about James and Lily and the marauders generation. And your family tradition reminds me of Gilmore Girls friday night dinners!

  2. I like going to the movies too, but I agree with you on how expensive it is. But there are so many great movies being released this year, that I think I'm going to go broke.

  3. I love frozen yogurt, now I'm craving it. Movies are terribly expensive here too, $10 for admission, $6 for a small popocorn, $4 for a soda, and around $3 for candy for something.
    Have a happy Sunday! :)

  4. LOL I love the eating cereal at night. I've gone through similar phases where my "snack" happens to be cereals LOL.

I love those family gatherings, the memories built from those are priceless.

JK Rowling...oh how I'd love to be able to just pick her brains. To have such imagination...ahh...what can I say!

I don't think a theater is right without popcorn.
