Top Ten Tuesday: Light and Fun!

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!

This week's topic:

Top Ten Books When You Need Something Light & Fun
My definition of light & fun is that the book doesn't require a lot of deep thought or deducement (yes I made that word up). Even though it may be emotional and have some heavy themes in it, overall it's cute, funny, has lovable characters and is easy to get through. All the books I've listed I love.

1. The Princess Diaries series (Meg Cabot)
The Princess Diaries Collection (The Princess Diaries, #1-8)

2. Anna and the French Kiss (Stephanie Perkins)
Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1)

3. Lola and the Boy Next Door (Stephanie Perkins)
Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss, #2)

4. Amy & Roger's Epic Detour (Morgan Matson)
Amy and Roger's Epic Detour

5. Stephanie Plum series (Janet Evanovich)
One For The Money (Stephanie Plum, #1)Two for the Dough (Stephanie Plum, #2)Three to Get Deadly (Stephanie Plum, #3)

6. The Truth About Forever (Sarah Dessen)
The Truth About Forever

7. The Book of Awesome (Neil Pasricha)
The Book of Awesome

8. The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series (#1-3) (Ann Brashares) - The 4th and final book in the series is NOT fun. It crosses into crush your heart into a billion smithereens territory.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, #1)

9. Summer series (Jenny Han)
The Summer I Turned Pretty (Summer, #1)

10. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series (Rick Riordan)
The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1)

I can't wait to see what books other people chose!
Leave your link and I'll check it out :)

  2. So much agree! Especially with Princess Diaries. That set in the picture is SO CUTE. Oh, if I didn't already have my own cute set, maybe I'd get another... Michael Moscovitz for life.
