In My Mailbox (#2)

There's nothing like the anticipation of waiting for a box of new books to arrive in the mail.. Well the waiting is OVER. The books I ordered from Amazon have arrived and I can't wait to tear into them. Here's my haul:
(Links will take you to the Goodreads page)

Allison Hewitt Is Trapped (Madeleine Roux)- I've been on a zombie kick lately.
The Iron Queen (Iron Fey #3) (Julie Kagawa)- I've already read the first 2 books. LOVE.
Anna and the French Kiss (Stephanie Perkins)- This book comes highly rated from a fellow book lover so I can't NOT read it.
The Dark and Hollow Places (The Forest of Hands and Teeth #3) (Carrie Ryan)- The Forest of Hands and Teeth was the gateway into my new obsession with zombies. Thank you Carrie Ryan.

So after an internal struggle with the whole "e-reader" thing, I actually did get a Kindle for Christmas, although I  have purchased more games on it than I have books. I do like it, and can see it being handy if I go on a long trip. And I have bought a couple books that were very cheap. However if given the choice between a kindle version of a book for 8 dollars or the actual book for 10 dollars, it's a no-brainer for me that I will buy the actual book. I am a book collector, and like to look at them and hold them and squeeze them and tell them I love them...oh ahem.  Anyhoo, I did purchase a couple things on my Kindle this week:

To Kill a Warlock (Dulcie O'Neil, #1)If not for my Kindle I may never have come across H.P Mallory's Jolie Wilkins series (which would have been a tragedy). This one sounds just as good.
Wicked Lovely (Wicked Lovely, #1)I've read rave reviews on this series, so I thought I'd check it out.
And lastly I bought a game called Spelling Star..gotta try to keep the brain juices a-flowing. It's actually pretty fun, mini grammar games and such.

Go check out The Story Siren to see what other people got in their mailboxes this week !

Oh and  I'm up to 3 followers now! WOOWOO!
